The German Aerospace Centre (DLR) in Cologne offers interested groups the opportunity to find out more about DLR and its work at a scientific information event at various times from Tuesday to Friday, subject to prior registration.
The guided tours are free of charge and last approximately three hours. The tour can also be conducted in English on request. The group must consist of a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 28 people. Unfortunately, young people under the age of 16 are not permitted to participate. Here we recommend a visit to the DLR_School_Labs.
After a brief general overview, our trained DLR guest guides are expected to present the following institutes and facilities:
- DLR Institute of Aerospace Medicine.
- DLR Institute of Solar Research.
- European Astronaut Centre (EAC).
- User Centre for Space Experiments (MUSC).

Please note the specified group size of 10 to 28 people (from 16 years of age). Please note: Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve appointments for individuals.
Sending the appointment request does not yet reserve an appointment. You will receive a binding appointment confirmation with all the information about your visit, or, if applicable, a cancellation, in a separate e-mail.
Due to internal processes, we reserve the right to make changes to the programme, postpone dates, etc. at any time. We will of course inform you as soon as possible. In any case, however, there is no entitlement to the realisation of a visitor tour in a certain way or on a certain date. In this respect, we also ask for your understanding that any cancellation costs etc. incurred by you cannot be reimbursed by DLR. We would also like to point out that it is not permitted to incorporate the visitor tours offered by DLR into commercial activities, offers, etc
